Veterans of Foreign Wars
Founded in 1899, the Veterans of Foreign Wars remains dedicated
to this country's military, its veterans, and their families.

American Legion
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a
patriotic, war-time veterans organization, devoted to mutual
helpfulness. It is a non-profit organization which now numbers
nearly 3 million members, men and women, in nearly 15,000
American Legion posts worldwide.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall USA website is dedicated to
honoring those who died in the Vietnam War. Since it first went
online in 1996 it has evolved into something more. It is now also
a place of healing for those affected by one of the most divisive
wars in our nation's history.

Bonenfant Photo
Richard Bonenfant has long been a strong supporter of the
Norwalk veterans' community. He has for the last several years
donated his time and effort towards documenting in picture the
various veterans events in the city, and was a major contributor
to this website.

of the Norwalk Veterans Memorial Committee website. He may be

Kick for Nick
This website was established in honor of Nick Madaras of Wilton
(KIA Iraq) that has been used to collect and distribute over 20,000
soccer balls for Iraqi children. The Madaras family is also working
hard to identify and establish housing for returning female veterans
in need of temporary lodging.

American Warrior
American Warrior is an organization that exists to support veterans,
members of our Armed Forces, and patriotism. An important ongoing
mission of the organization is raising funds to enable the transportation
of World War II veterans to Washington, DC, for the purpose of visiting
the World War II Memorial.

Fisher House of Connecticut
We are in the initial stages of fundraising so that a Fisher House can
be built on the West Haven VA Hospital grounds for military families
to be able to stay free while their loved one is being treated. If you
