Chairman's Message
I am Alfred “Buddy” Scudder, a Vietnam-Era veteran, Junior
Vice Commander and Adjutant for the Frank C. Godfrey
American Legion Post 12. It is a great honor to be elected
by the outstanding veterans of the Norwalk Veterans Memorial
Committee to be their Chairman. The citizens of Norwalk have
come to expect nothing but the best when it comes to the
three annual patriotic events organized and run by our
committee. I promise to keep our legacy moving forward as we
strive to "Honor Our Vets− Support Our Troops." NVMC members
strive constantly to improve the quality of these events and
activities and we are grateful for the support we receive
from the entire Norwalk community.

The Norwalk Veterans Memorial Committee meets on the first
Tuesday of each month at 7 P.M. at the American Legion Post 12 Hall
at 60 County Street (across the street from Norwalk High
School). Visitors are welcome to attend but participation
in committee discussions are at the discretion of the chairman.
