The Annual Memorial Day Parade

The annual Memorial Day Parade will be held this year on Monday, May 27, 2013.

Bands participating in past years include the Norwalk Fire Department Pipe Band, the Norwalk High School Marching Bears, the Brien McMahon High School Marching Senators, bands from West Rocks, Roton, Ponus Ridge, Nathan Hale Middle Schools.

A host of civic organizations, Scout troops, youthful athletic teams, and community groups marched, with prizes awarded for the best parade floats. We look forward to this year’s parade, and hope to make it even more successful than previous years events.

Organizations interested in participating in the 2013 Norwalk Memorial Day Parade, please read our standing parade policies before submitting your application. Placement in the parade will be determined at the discretion of the Parade Marshall.

Those organizations that wish to participate in the 2013 parade can download the 2013 Norwalk Memorial Day Parade form. Applications for participation in the 2013 Memorial Day Parade will be accepted until 5:00 P.M. on Friday, May 17.
